Rhea was a very successful competition mare, both in eventing and dressage and was the most agreeable horse that I have ever ridden. Unfortunately, due to a paddock injury acquired when she was only 6yo, she is now a brood mare, and has produced her first stunning colt foal this year, Gibralta, by Kinnordy Graziano and we look forward to many more quality foals in the future.

Out of Sambucca (Han) who was by Mount Hotham (Imp Hanoverian) out of an Artic Symbol TB mare (Dark Choice)
Rhapsody has been out and was competing successfully in eventing and dressage, but unfortunately due to a fall from a truck as a youngster, has had ongoing problems with her psoas muscle and can no longer be competed. She has joined our broodmare band, and last year presented a very stunning youngster by LesleyAnne Taylor's imported stallion, Welfenadel. Wunder is a stunning youngster and we look forward to many more in the future.

By Northern Romulus (see Stallion Page) out of Mustinano, who was by Mustin Lake TB out of a Sunny Coronation mare, Another Joanne.
Rani is a quality mare with extravagent movement and a fantastic temperament.
Rani was retained by the Stud as a brood mare, was backed and was extremely trainable, but again had an accident as a weanling and was a little uneven, therefore, on the strength of Rhea's achievements we decided to keep her as part of our breeding programme.
To date Rani has produced a very athletic, tall gelding, AR Milano, who is by Mac's Bravado, and also AR Galileo who is by Kinnordy Graziano and has been purchased as a dressage hopeful by Kerry Kirschner (FEI Dressage rider);
We look forward to Rani producing many more quality youngsters.
ACACIA RIDGE ROCHERE

Bay mare by Northern Romulus (see Stallion Page) out of Acacia Ridge Champagne who was by Waveney Goldbine (one of SA's greatest producers of performance horses).
Champagne was out of Shermainor Peggy, a purpose bred sporthorse by Clarence Court. Both Goldbine and Peggy carry the Comic Court line. Rochere has produced two foals so far, AR Matador, by Mac's Bravado, who is in our catalogue, and a very classy yearling gelding, AR Geronimo, who is by Kinnordy Graziano. Both of these lads are very athletic, rangy and will certainly excel in the competition field with the right riders.

ACACIA RIDGE CERES

By McCartney (TB A grade SJ by Souvenir) out of Cia (Hanoverian mare) by Mount Hotham (Imp) out of Duffryn (Imp)
Ceres had a short career as an eventer and dressage horse and then went to Lizzie Haymen who competed her on the State Junior SJ Squad. As a partnership they were successful in the junior ranks and when Lizzie followed her travelbug itch and went to NZ. Ceres came home to be a school horse. She has now joined our brood mare band, and her first foal, AR Bianca, first foal of Bravo Romulus (see stallion page) is a very exciting young lady. Ceres will hopefully continue to produce top quality performance horses in between her teaching role.
ACACIA RIDGE SHIRAZ

Shiraz is also out of Cia (Hanoverian mare) by Mount Hotham (Imp) out of Duffryn (Imp). By Mystic Mission our foundation TB sire who was by Classic Mission, out of TB mare Pride of Lotion who was by Romantic.
Shiraz has a fantastic temperament, and was retained by the Stud as she combined our first WB lines (Imp Hanoverian) with our classic TB stallion Mystic Mission (sire of successul jumping and stockhorse youngsters, "Mickie" had a fantastic temperament, a total gentleman with beautiful conformation). Shiraz is the dam of AR Revel, currently being campaigned in dressage, AR Regae (3yo filly currently for sale) and AR Granada (yearling by Kinnordy Graziano). All of her babies have been very easy to work with and show very good paces, we look forward to next year's foal which will be by Bravo Romulus, our new kid on the block.
NORTHERN ATHENA

Athena is a full sister to Northern Romulus, our founding warmblood sire. She is by Falklands Victory (by Falkland, imp) out of Northern Annalisa (by imp Dutch WB Arnhem) out of a Flaneur mare.
Athena has only had one foal for our Stud at this stage, a very exciting yearling gelding by Glenrose Coventry. AR Capricorn has very correct conformation and has an elevated trot and canter, together with a very user friendly temperament. We have brought together the heavier type of WB and added the touch of Arab & TB that Coventry combines with his WB heritage.

"Gem" has been with us for over 10 years and has produced some wonderful foals. She is by Sir Herbert who was by Arnhem (imp dutch WB ) out of a TB, Fox Whistle who was by Confidence. Her first foal, by Northern Romulus, was AR Rebound, who has matured to 17.1hh and is a very striking gelding with very impressive movement. Gem is also the dam of Acacia Ridge Raptismo, currently being sucessfully campaigned in Dressage, another very flashy mover, and also our new colt, Acacia Ridge Reflections, only a 3yo at the moment, but a very impressive boy with natural piaffe and passage and very quiet to handle.
