DENISE DAWSON Stud Principal and NCAS EA Level 1 General Coach

Denise has had fifty years experience with horses and has been running Acacia Ridge Stud, including backing and educating our youngstock since 1990. Wide range of experience, eventing (including Gawler 3 Day Event), National ladies tentpegging champion, hunted, showjumped, steeplechased and currently competing in Dressage. Also currently Chief Instructor Fleurieu Horse and Pony Club and President Southern Vales Dressage Club.

Denise is available for flat or jumping lessons, either bring your own horse or use one of our school horses. Children very welcome, lessons given from six years of age.

 

COLETTE GRUBBA

Colette arrived from Germany and joined us at Acacia Ridge Stud in November 2009 and is now part of our Stud team. Colette is invaluable in her riding and training of the young horses and is now available to train and compete visiting horses as well as our Acacia Ridge horses.

In Germany Colette educated warmblood dressage horses, preparing them for the young horse classes and competing up until Medium level in dressage. She had experience on several stallion studs, including Holkenbrink and Hubert H. Lengermann.

Colette is now here working together with Denise, a combination of a very talented young rider and Denise’s years of experience with young horses. Colette would very much like to stay in Australia and make training horses her full time profession. Please contact us if you would like Colette to help your horse achieve his potential.
